Hot on the heels of a successful Artistic Skating World Cup in Italy, Australia's best artistic skaters are arriving in Brisbane for the 2022 Artistic Skating National Championships.
With over 100 events on a packed 6 day program, skating fans will be treated to an array of events, from minis to masters, solos, couples and quartets, dance, free skate and figures.
Events will begin on Sunday 3rd July and will be showcased daily into the evening until Friday 8th July at Mount Warren Indoor Sports Centre, 2 Milne Street, Mount Warren Park, Logan City.
Skate Australia Executive Director, Ariane de Rooy said, "with over 200 of Australia's best artistic skaters competing, the 2022 National Championships will be an exciting showcase of talent, creativity, strength and skill."
"As the first nationals since 2019 I'm sure there'll be plenty of smiles and hugs as skate friends who haven't seen each other for some time get together for a wonderful week of world class artistic skating."
Skaters will also have the opportunity to 'have their say' at several community forums scheduled at the venue on Tuesday 5 July. Full details are available at www.skate.org.au
The Artistic Skating National Championships are open to the public and entry is free. The full program of events and competitors is available here.
