Skate Australia is very pleased to announce the Artistic team selected to represent Australia at the World Figure Cup, from 26-28 September 2024.
Set to take place in Prato, Italy following the World Skate Games, the three day event will see the world's best Figure skaters compete across Junior and Senior categories.
Amongst the team selected is Queensland-based athlete Caitlyn Peck, who credits her support team for her selection.
“Being selected is a testament to the support from my coaches, teammates, friends and family,” said Peck.
“Wearing my country's colours fills me with immense pride, and I'm motivated to give my absolute best to make everyone proud,” she said.
Peck will be joined in the Senior Ladies division by fellow Queenslander, Georgina Foers, set to make her major international event debut at the Artistic World Cup Figures 2024.
“It feels amazing to have been selected, I couldn’t be more excited,” said Foers.
“All the hard work has paid off and all the 4am wake ups have been worth it.”
