Following a national recruitment process, Skate Australia delighted to announce the appointment of the 2022 World Skate Games Chef de Mission and Deputy Chef de Mission.
The World Skate Games is the premier international multi skate sport event, sanctioned by international federation World Skate and held biannually. The 2022 World Skate Games are to be held in Argentina from 24 October to 13 November 2022.
Chef de Mission Nicole Mills, will lead and co-ordinate Team Coaches and Managers from all disciplines prior to and throughout the Games. Nicole is a well known organiser in skateboard racing and attended the 2019 Games as Team Manager. As an experienced nurse now working in the management team of Rowville Sports Academy in Melbourne, Nicole is well placed to meet the organisational demands of the 2022 Games.
Nigel Foster has been appointed Deputy Chef de Mission, where he will utilise his extensive international team management experience in a dual role, leading the Artistic Skating team and co-ordinating all teams at one of the two Games sites throughout the competition. His experience living in South America will also be invaluable!
